Multi-Family and Light Commercial Property Maintenance Technician

SUBURBAN MULTI-FAMILY & LIGHT COMMERCIAL SERVICE TECHNICIAN

Property Services, Inc. has been in business since 1954 and specializes in the maintenance and renovation of investment properties including but not limited to apartments, office buildings, and smaller retail centers. Our Maintenance Service Techs are responsible for all building structures and maintenance services for our residential and light commercial buildings on the properties.

The Master Service Technician must be knowledgeable in plumbing, electrical, HAVC, appliances, carpentry, windows/doors, flooring and all other residential maintenance and/ or repairs as assigned. The Master Service Technician must possess their own hand tools and small power tools (i.e., drill, etc.) Specialty equipment is supplied by the company.

Candidate must have the ability to read and write clearly, lift and move at least 50-60 lbs. safely and to be available “on-call” for After-Hours Emergencies on a rotating schedule. To perform this job successfully, the employee must possess the abilities and aptitudes to perform each duty proficiently. Candidate must be able to pass drug and alcohol test and background check. Candidate must possess a valid driver’s license and at least required state minimum insurance coverage

EDUCATION

· High School Diploma or GED minimum

· Trade or Maintenance training certifications related to position helpful

EXPERIENCE

· Prior full-time Residential and/or Property Maintenance experience minimum 5-years

· HVAC certification, a plus;

· Basic computer knowledge, a plus

SALARY AND BENEFITS

· Full-time 40-hour position with occasional overtime
