Medical Assistant/RMA – Full-Time Position at Axis HealthCare, Bixby, OK

This position supports one provider and is an integral part of our Primary Care team. Position Details:

• Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday, 40 hours a week, must be able to work until 6 PM Monday - Thursday.
• Location: Bixby Clinic, 11911 S Memorial Dr., Bixby, OK 74008. (axishealth.net)
• Specialties: Primary Care, Weight Loss, Pediatrics, Geriatrics, Psychiatry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare patients for exams and assist with procedures.
• Administer vaccinations to children
• Draw blood and perform basic lab tests as required.
• Provide injections and medication administration as directed by the provider.
• Manage patient flow, ensuring the provider's schedule runs smoothly.
• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records using eClinicalWorks (ECW).
• Educate patients on medical procedures, tests, and treatment plans.
• Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment, including sterilizing instruments and restocking supplies.

Qualifications:

• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program or current RMA certification.
• Experience in pediatrics and administering vaccinations
• Proficiency in drawing blood and giving injections.
• Familiarity with eClinicalWorks (ECW) or similar EMR systems is a plus.
• Spanish-speaking candidates is a plus
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a commitment to providing compassionate care.
