Duties:
- Provides exceptional nursing care under the direction and supervision of an RN or LPN
- Records vital signs, such as temperature, blood pressure, pulse, or respiration rate, as part of nursing care plan and enters data into Meditech
- Communicates with patients for assistance or social and emotional support
- Maintains a safe and hygienic environment as part of the patient
- Provides physical support to assist patients to perform daily living activities, including but not limited to, getting out of bed, bathing, dressing, toileting, standing, or walking.
- Gathers and documents information from caregivers, nurses, or physicians about patient condition
- Active or Current CNA certification in Massachusetts
- At least 1-2 years of long term care or skilled nursing experience
- Availability to work every weekend, overnight shift (11pm to 7am) Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
- Dementia Care Training (we will sign you up for a class if you do not have this training credential)
