Maintenance Manager of the Residences at Tesson Ridge
WHO WE ARE: Propper Asset Management LLC is a privately owned real estate firm with residential and commercial properties across Missouri. This role is based at The Residences at Tesson Ridge, a large multifamily residential community in South St. Louis County.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR: We seek a skilled Maintenance Manager to lead a team dedicated to maintaining and improving the aesthetics and functionality of our properties. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, self-motivated, and experienced in using maintenance tools like Yardi. You will work collaboratively with your team to ensure a superior resident experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Lead and manage a team of technicians to handle maintenance tasks and work orders efficiently. Perform repairs and maintenance, including locks, windows, fixtures, walls, plumbing, and electrical systems. Maintain and test pools, hot tubs, and spas per local and state codes. Oversee landscaping, painting, carpentry, and general upkeep. Respond promptly to on-call emergency maintenance issues. Inspect and schedule repairs for alarm systems; maintain inspection records. Follow purchasing procedures and manage expense reports. Complete special projects and duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS: The ideal candidate has significant experience in multifamily property maintenance, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a hands-on approach to managing day-to-day tasks. Certifications in CPO and HVAC are preferred (training provided if needed). You must possess strong organizational skills, be customer-service focused, and have reliable transportation with a valid driver's license.
