Propulsion Controls Engineer Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Machinist Journeyman to join our team at Propulsion Controls Engineering LLC. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in marine and/or shipyard environments, with expertise in the installation, maintenance, and repair of ship's propulsion and auxiliary systems.
Main Responsibilities:
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on fluid systems, including pumps, compressors, purifiers, heat exchangers, actuators, and valves.
• Analyze defects and adjust or repair electrical mechanical systems of outboard motors.
• Reassemble and test equipment to ensure systems meet specifications and drawings.
Requirements and Qualifications:
• Minimum 5 years of marine and/or shipyard experience required.
• Marine Hydraulics and/or Marine Refrigeration a plus.
• Ability to follow repair references and drawings, and proficiency in precision measuring equipment.
