What are the responsibilities and job description for the Marine Electrician position at Propulsion Controls Engineering (PCE)?
Job Summary - Marine Electrician:
Install, repair and connect equipment for all electrical services on the ship with minimal Supervision. Lay out, pull, lift and install cables and conduits with minimal Supervision. Prepare work area, drill holes, grind metal surfaces, and mount equipment with minimal Supervision. Test electrical equipment in accordance with NAVSEA Standard Items with minimal Supervision. Perform other related tasks as assigned, some of which may become essential to the position.
Job Requirements and Experience - Marine Electrician:
- Must be 18 years of age or older to apply.
- Some college, trade school, or technical training preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of marine and/or shipyard experience.
