Job Title : Estimator – Commercial & Industrial Restoration
Location : Northeast Region (Travel Required, NY, NJ)
ProRank is seeking an experienced Estimator , for our client, to join a pre-mitigation and preconstruction estimating team . This position will focus on preparing and managing estimates for commercial and industrial restoration projects, ensuring accurate and timely budgets and pre-bid packages. The ideal candidate will have experience with large-scale construction estimating and proficiency in estimating software such as Xactimate and Symbility .
Essential Functions :
- Produce accurate, timely estimates using estimating software like Xactimate, Symbility, ROMS, NTE, Time & Material, and other relevant methods.
- Perform job site walkthroughs and create damage assessments.
- Create project documentation that clearly identifies the building's current condition and the extent of damage.
- Work closely with the project management team to develop project budgets and production schedules.
- Assist the project management team in creating Job Hazard Assessments (JHA) and change orders.
- Collaborate with the Project Coordinator to prepare project invoices.
- Communicate effectively with clients, insurance carriers, advisors, and other stakeholders.
- Ensure the project remains within budget and on schedule, working with the Project Manager as necessary.
- Handle multiple large projects simultaneously.
