ProRank is a boutique search firm and we are working with a client to help them fill a position for a Nurse Practitioner who specializes in Orthopedics for a healthcare facility in Hobart, IN.
Position Type: Full-time, Days
FTE: 1.0 (80 hours per pay period)
This position involves a blend of patient care, clinical duties, and collaborative work within a supportive healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of orthopedic conditions.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to ensure quality care and optimal patient outcomes.
- Perform patient assessments, prescribe medications, and manage treatment plans for orthopedic patients.
- Educate patients on self-care practices and rehabilitation techniques, ensuring clear communication of treatment goals and expectations.
- Apply critical thinking to solve patient care challenges in a proactive, positive manner.
- Work closely with other healthcare professionals and administrative staff, ensuring a cohesive approach to patient care.
Education/Experience Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited Nursing program; Master of Nursing degree required.
- Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience required; 5 years preferred.
- Licensed Registered Nurse in the State of Indiana with prescriptive authority.
- Board Certification required to obtain necessary hospital privileges.
- CPR certification required.
- Previous direct experience working as a Nurse Practitioner is essential.
