Seeking Radiation Therapists in Chicago, IL!
We are looking for a skilled Radiation Therapist to work full-time in a dynamic environment. The Radiation Therapist will play an integral role in the coordination of radiation treatment delivery and planning for oncology patients. You will be responsible for supervising daily treatment and simulation activities, ensuring compliance with all policies, standard operating procedures, and regulations. The ideal candidate will possess strong professional competency, leadership, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to problem-solve effectively in a clinical environment.
The ideal candidate will have the following :
- Minimum of three years’ experience as a Radiation Therapist and three years of college education.
- Graduate of an accredited Radiation Therapy Technology program.
- Proven experience in a progressive radiation oncology department.
- Knowledge of therapeutic radiation equipment, clinical radiation therapy principles, and their proper use and maintenance.
- Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) as a Radiation Therapist.
- Ability to operate various clinical equipment, including calculators, computers, linear accelerators, CT Simulators, and Tomotherapy Unit Software.
