Application Developer 3 – Hybrid (Pennsylvania Residents Only)
Location : Pennsylvania (Hybrid – First two weeks on-site, then one day per week in-office; all telework must be performed within Pennsylvania)
Organization : Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission
Job Overview :
The Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission is seeking an Application Developer 3 (AD3) to assist with upgrading the Resource First Portal (RFP) system code to comply with WCAG Accessibility standards. The RFP application is built using ASP.Net, C#.Net, .NET MVC, and SQL Server.
The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated developer who can work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. This role requires a strong technical background , the ability to meet strict deadlines, and proficiency in modern application development frameworks .
Key Responsibilities :
- Perform analysis, design, coding, and testing of application code.
- Troubleshoot and fix application bugs as needed.
- Upgrade existing applications to ensure WCAG accessibility compliance .
- Convert monolithic applications into microservices -based architectures.
- Record, verify, log, and document testing results .
- Maintain versioning and source control using TFS .
- Develop new applications using the Angular Framework .
- Prepare and present recommendations for issue / risk remediation to team leads and managers.
