IT Auditor
Location : Hybrid role located in the Philadelphia, PA and Harrisburg, PA areas
Work Schedule : Part-Time, As Needed
Residency Requirements : Candidates must reside within a commutable distance from Harrisburg, PA and Philadelphia, PA, and hold a valid U.S. Green Card or U.S. citizenship.
Screening Requirements : ll candidates must provide official identification displaying their current home address and photograph as part of the application process. Identity verification will be conducted through a video call prior to consideration for the position.
Position Summary : The IT Auditor will assess the effectiveness of IT controls, safeguarding data and ensuring the reliability of IT systems. The role involves testing IT general controls, application controls, security configurations, access controls, change management processes, backup / recovery operations, and cyber / network management and security measures.
Key Responsibilities :
- Test IT general controls and evaluate the effectiveness of IT policies and procedures.
- Perform application controls testing, including validation of security settings / configurations.
- Conduct access testing on key systems to ensure proper authorization and segregation of duties.
- Assess change management processes, including tracking, testing, and approving system changes.
- Evaluate backup and recovery procedures and verify data integrity.
- Review cyber and network management controls to safeguard against security vulnerabilities.
- Document audit findings, compile reports, and present recommendations to management.
- Collaborate with IT and cybersecurity teams to remediate identified control deficiencies.
