- Serve as the primary liaison for patient access activities, including registration, insurance verification, and billing
- Assist patients with financial counseling and payment alternatives
- Maintain accurate documentation for claims and patient balances
- Ensure compliance with insurance carrier requirements and HIPAA regulations
- Handle escalated patient issues and coordinate with providers to enhance service quality
- Support team motivation and contribute to process improvements
- Proficiency in healthcare billing and insurance processes
- Strong data entry and administrative skills
- Experience with patient financial counseling
- Knowledge of HIPAA and medical recordkeeping
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
