Job Description:
- Improve manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning workflow, space requirements, and equipment layout.
- Maximize efficiency by optimizing equipment layout, workflow, assembly methods, and workforce utilization.
- Support operations objectives by providing insights and recommendations for strategic projects, conducting reviews, and preparing and executing action plans.
- Develop and refine manufacturing processes by studying product requirements, researching, designing, modifying, and testing manufacturing methods and equipment in collaboration with vendors.
- Evaluate manufacturing processes through research, applying knowledge of product design, fabrication, assembly, tooling, and materials, while gathering insights from equipment vendors and operators.
- Plan, direct, and oversee projects to ensure all objectives are met efficiently.
- Analyze assembly, fabrication, machining, and other production processes to identify improvement opportunities.
- Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data on product performance and process trends.
- Conduct time and cost analysis of manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Determine the necessary parts, equipment, tools, and processes to meet manufacturing goals and product specifications.
- Oversee capital investments and manage the installation of new equipment.
- Support the preventative maintenance program to ensure equipment reliability and longevity.
- Contribute to detailed and complex aspects of manufacturing projects.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (including Excel), CAD, and other job-related software.
- Background in controls and development is required.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and meet deadlines.
- Strong ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment while also working independently.
