Qualifications
Requirements:
- Passion around serving others!
- Kentucky license as an Occupational Therapist or ability to obtain license.
- 1-2 years of experience as a Certified Hand Therapist.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- Analyzes comprehensive information from formal and informal assessment that is pertinent to the patient's care and management to determine a rehabilitation treatment diagnosis.
- Performs diagnostic exam to evaluate/assess patient needs of the Upper extremities
- Creates treatment plans in accordance with instructions and consent of referring physician
- Evaluates patient treatment programs in coordination with the medical staff
- Performs written re-evaluations in preparation for patients return for follow-up Physician appointments
- Provides services that help improve mobility, relieve pain, and prevent or limit permanent physical disabilities of patients
- Fabricates custom-made splints, and communicates with physician to ensure the patient receives the correct splint
