Job Description
We are seeking a qualified individual to manager a Heavy Equipment Shop in Kent, WA. The Service Manager will supervise a team of 30 personnel including shop and field service technicians, parts runners and service advisors / writers. Will interact with all employees and other department managers, customers, and vendors. Managers with dealership experience will be considered an asset.
Responsibilities :
- Oversee field and shop repairs including closing work orders.
- Prepare bids and have oversight of quotes for repairs and maintenance work in a timely manner
- Review and evaluate all work orders for accuracy
- Negotiate and settle customer and internal service disputes
- Control and evaluate department P & L, including capital expenditures
- Interact with other department employees and promote a team environment
- Handle all employee issues including hiring, mentoring, disciplinarian actions, and terminations
- Monitor and schedule for technician training to stay current with technology
- Assist with other duties as assigned and directed by the Branch Manager and Corporate Service Manager
Qualification
Compensation :
80k - $110k / year, salary range depends on experience and qualification.
Benefits available after 90 days and include Medical, Dental Vision, Life Insurance, 401k, PTO company vehicle and gas card.
Shift :
Day shift, 7 : 00 am - 5 : 00 pm Monday - Friday.
