Position Overview:
PROS main marketing channel is our website. This position’s primary function is to be responsible for expanding our website marketing outcomes. This role will help monitor our site’s search placement and continually review our search engine optimization strategy, develop and implement a plan for paid search campaigns, and define the equipment, parts and supplies we will feature on the website. This role will also respond to orders that come in through the website and serve as a backup inside salesperson -- answering the phones, developing quotes and providing excellent service to our customers. Regular and consistent attendance is required and considered an essential function of this position.
Responsibilities:
- Monitoring and expanding our Search Engine Optimization functions.
- Researching, building and implementing a paid search advertising strategy.
- Determine the products, including expanded equipment and supplies, to feature on the website.
- Monitor reviews and create posts on our social media platforms
- Responding to orders that come in through the website.
- Serving as a backup person to help with inside sales, answering phones and providing sales quotes and shipment information.
- Using the company’s Customer Relationship Management System (CRM) to follow up on quotes and prospects proactively.
Job Knowledge, Abilities, and Skills: Knowledge of general sales practices.
- Proven experience in digital marketing and SEO knowledge.
- Preferred experience with paid advertising and e-commerce marketing.
- Ability to use various computer software systems, including basic email (Outlook), Microsoft Teams, and the company’s CRM and ERP systems.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
- The ability to multi-task & work well under pressure.
- Ability to assess a situation, draw a valid conclusion, and make sound recommendations.
- Ability to work well independently and as a team.
- Knowledge of general sales practices.
- Strong organizational skills and experience using those skills in the workplace.
- Must have solid interpersonal skills.
- Ability to type and accurately complete data entry tasks.
- Ability to learn and be familiar with the company's overall product line, pricing practices, and relevant aspects of the industry.

Education and Experience:
- 1-3 years of experience working in digital-based marketing.
- Strong experience with SEO strategy and monitoring.
- Experience in web advertising and strategy.
- Strong skills in answering calls and emails to attend to the needs of customers and 1-3 years of previous experience using those skills in the workplace.
- Proficient (and previous work-related experience) using all Microsoft Office products (Excel, Outlook, Word, Microsoft Teams).
- Previous experience using an ERP (Sage 100) or a similar computer system requiring data entry.
- Previous experience using a CRM System is a plus.
- Proven experience working cohesively with a team to complete a task or project is required.
- Proven experience working efficiently on an independent basis with minimal supervision.
- Previous experience in the parts sales segment (auto, plumbing etc.) is a plus.
- A sales, marketing, or business degree is a plus.
Work Environment:
PROS Parts is a small company. We have a flat organizational chart where the team works together without a lot of hierarchy. Each employee wears multiple hats, with an understanding of how all of the roles work together. We are looking for team members that want to do their job well but also are interested in learning more and taking on elevated responsibilities as appropriate.
