Senior HR Advisor - Houston Hybrid only
As a Senior HR Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring smooth HR Operations within our organization. You’ll handle a diverse range of responsibilities from supporting recruitment, onboarding and employee benefits to talent planning, development, and employee relations. Additionally, you’ll provide strategic guidance to line managers and drive positive outcomes to our employees and the business. You’ll collaborate with various stakeholders, including management, employees, and external partners, to ensure effective HR practices and compliance. A Day in the Life of the Senior HR Advisor
Employee Advocate:
- Facilitate onboarding and perform new employee orientation to deliver an exceptional early experience.
- Serve as employee’s first line of support for HR related questions.
- Partner with broader HR team to develop employee engagement plans and facilitate employee programs.
- Consult, mentor and coach managers providing guidance on HR topics.
- Promote company policies and procedures to ensure well-being, safety, and a consistent and fair employee experience.
Business Advisor:
- Participate in the alignment of HR strategies with business goals and objectives, acting as a liaison between HR and the business.
- Collaborate with Talent Acquisition teams to assist with staffing and recruitment.
- Assist with drafting new HR policies in accordance with industry trends, labor laws, and organizational goals.
- Process documentation, prepare and analyze HR reports relating to talent development, performance, compensations, evaluations, etc.
- Ensure accurate employee record keeping and confidentiality.
- Manage employee records, benefits, compensation, talent management and HR processes using HR software.
- Evaluate employee performance and recommend appropriate actions, pay adjustments, development needs, etc.
- Gather and analyze employee data to gain insights into actionable recommendations, such as exit interviews and engagement survey data, etc.
Organization Champion:
- Provide guidance on change management, conflict resolution and team effectiveness.
- Collaborate with upper management to maintain corporate social responsibility standards.
- Provide employee relations support that maintains balance and fairness, including conducting thorough and impartial investigations.
Required Qualifications – About You

- Ideally a minimum of 4 years of proven experience in HR roles, including exposure to both generalist and business partner responsibilities.
