Did you know that 50% of Americans have a gene variant that makes metabolizing caffeine difficult, leading to jitters, bloating, and stomach problems? Most people just shrug and say, “That’s coffee for you.” But not this brand. They’ve reimagined coffee by blending it with functional mushrooms, collagen protein, and nootropics to create a drink that promotes focus, energy, immunity, and gut health—without the crash or B.S.

In just three years, they’ve served over 300,000 customers, but with 150 million coffee drinkers out there, they’re less than 1% done. That’s where you come in. They’re looking for a Growth Copywriter to join their team and help craft compelling, conversion-focused messaging that will take their brand to the next 99%.

YOUR MISSION

As a Growth Copywriter, you’ll play a key role in shaping the voice of the brand across paid social, Google ads, radio, and other performance marketing channels. You’ll write hooks, scripts, and ad copy that drive engagement and conversions, while collaborating with designers and media buyers to create high-performing creatives. Your work will directly impact the brand’s growth and its mission to redefine coffee and functional wellness.

This is a full-time role.

What You’re Getting Into

  • Drive engagement and conversions by crafting high-performing hooks and short-form ad copy for paid social platforms like Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube
  • Increase click-through rates and ROI by writing compelling ad copy for Google Ads, Bing, and other PPC platforms, including headlines, descriptions, and extensions
  • Boost listener engagement by scripting audio ads for podcasts and satellite radio (SiriusXM) that resonate with target audiences
  • Enhance authenticity and brand alignment by writing scripts for UGC and influencer campaigns
  • Collaborate with designers and media buyers to create ad creatives that outperform benchmarks and drive measurable results
  • Improve conversion rates by optimizing the New Customer Acquisition landing page copy to align with customer needs and pain points
  • Leverage social proof by strategically managing, organizing, and utilizing testimonials across all paid performance media
  • Maximize ad performance by conducting A/B tests on ad variations, analyzing results, and iterating based on data-driven insights
  • Stay ahead of the competition by researching customer pain points, competitor messaging, and industry trends to inform ad strategy
  • Maintain a consistent brand voice across all paid media and performance marketing assets to build trust and recognition

Who You Are

  • You have 3-6 years of experience in copywriting for DTC brands
  • You have a strong understanding of direct response marketing and conversion copywriting principles
  • You’re experienced in writing for performance-driven campaigns, including paid social and search
  • You can write quickly, iterate based on data, and adapt to different tones/voices as needed
  • You’re familiar with A/B testing and performance metrics to refine messaging
  • You have a passion for storytelling, creativity, and digital marketing
  • You have strong research skills to uncover audience insights and craft compelling messaging
  • You thrive in a fast-paced, iterative environment and can take feedback constructively

What Success Looks Like

30 Days: You’ve familiarized yourself with the brand’s voice, tone, and performance marketing strategies

60 Days: You’re actively writing and optimizing ad copy, scripts, and landing pages, with early wins in engagement and conversions

90 Days: Your work is driving measurable growth, and you’ve established yourself as a key contributor to the brand’s marketing success
