Job Summary:

We are seeking a creative and motivated Landscape Designer and Sales Specialist to join our dynamic team. This dual-role position combines landscape design expertise with customer-oriented sales skills, ensuring that our clients receive comprehensive service from concept to completion. The ideal candidate will have a passion for landscape architecture, a keen eye for design, and the ability to connect with clients to understand their needs and deliver exceptional solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

**Landscape Design:**

- Collaborate with clients to understand their landscape design needs, preferences, and budget.

- Create innovative and sustainable landscape designs using design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar).

- Develop detailed landscape plans, including planting designs, hardscaping, irrigation systems, and lighting layouts.

- Conduct site assessments to analyze the environmental, aesthetic, and functional aspects of properties.

- Stay updated on industry trends, plant materials, and landscape techniques to incorporate into designs.

- Prepare and present design proposals to clients, clearly communicating ideas and concepts.

**Sales:**

- Build and maintain strong client relationships, providing exceptional customer service throughout the project lifecycle.

- Generate new business opportunities through networking, referrals, and outreach initiatives.

- Conduct site visits and provide clients with accurate project estimates and timelines.

- Collaborate with the project management team to ensure designs are implemented accurately and to client satisfaction.

- Meet or exceed sales targets and contribute to the overall growth of the company.

- Assist in marketing efforts, such as creating promotional materials, attending trade shows, and participating in community events.

**Suggested Qualifications:**

- Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture, Horticulture, Environmental Design, or related field.

- Proven experience in landscape design and sales, preferably within the landscaping or outdoor design industry.

- Proficiency in a design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite).

- Strong understanding of plant materials, horticulture practices, and sustainable landscape design principles.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with clients effectively.

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel in our area for site visits and client meetings.
