About this Position
As a Fullstack Software Engineer, Real World Data at Proscia, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our real-world data (RWD) business—a fast-growing initiative that operates as a “startup within a startup.” This is an opportunity to work independently on transformative projects while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver cutting-edge software that supports pathologists and scientists globally.

What You’ll Do
Working at Proscia means embracing complexity and owning your projects. In this role, you can expect to focus on:
- Driving the development of Proscia’s real-world data (RWD) platform, enabling scalable and impactful solutions for data management and analytics.
- Collaborating within a cross-functional, Agile-Scrum team to define, plan, and deliver high-impact features.
- Coordinating and integrating with other engineering teams across Proscia to align with shared goals and ensure seamless interoperability.
- Leveraging modern frameworks like Vue.js, Node.js, and Playwright to build and maintain scalable, reliable software.
- Partnering with product management and stakeholders to gather and refine requirements for RWD use cases.
- Championing AI-first problem-solving approaches by incorporating AI/ML tools to improve development processes and platform capabilities.
- Ensuring that solutions meet regulatory, quality, and performance standards required for healthcare applications.

- 2 years of professional software development experience.
- Expertise in TypeScript and proficiency with SQL.
- Experience working in cross-functional teams and coordinating across different engineering groups.
- The ability to work independently while managing priorities and deadlines effectively.
- A startup mindset and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with minimal oversight.
- Familiarity with cloud-based environments (e.g., AWS, Azure) and CI/CD workflows is a plus.
- Experience in healthcare or regulated industries and knowledge of their specific requirements is highly advantageous.
- A passion for AI and real-world experience using AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, LLMs) to enhance problem-solving and development.
