About this Position
As a Senior Reliability Engineer, you will be a key part of Proscias Technical Operations team, ensuring the security, reliability, and efficiency of our SaaS and Customer-Managed environments. You will own and innovate automation processes, optimize infrastructure, and play a leadership role in DevOps, CI/CD, and cloud security. With a strong focus on AWS security tools and information security best practices, you will ensure our systems remain resilient while meeting the highest security standards.
What Youll Do
Working at a startup like Proscia means wearing many hats, but when you come to work, you can expect to focus on the following:
- Design, build, and enhance Proscias Hosted SaaS environment using the latest technologies and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Develop secure and scalable deployment processes that ensure compliance with AWS security best practices, including AWS Security Hub, GuardDuty, IAM, and VPC security controls.
- Automate provisioning, upgrading, and maintenance for both Hosted and Customer-Managed environments to enhance efficiency and security.
- Partner with engineering teams to drive best practices in secure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure architecture.
- Implement monitoring and alerting solutions that focus on symptom-based detection rather than simple outage notifications.
- Reduce risk by proactively identifying and mitigating reliability and security threats, including vulnerability management and compliance adherence.
- Own TechOps services and participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies, ensuring minimal downtime and swift incident resolution.
- Drive a security-first culture by mentoring others in cloud security and compliance principles.
What Were Seeking

- 5 years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), DevOps, or Cloud Engineering roles.
- Expertise in AWS security tools and best practices, including AWS Security Hub, GuardDuty, IAM roles & policies, VPC security, and encryption standards.
- Strong experience with IaC tools, such as Terraform or CloudFormation, to automate secure infrastructure deployments.
- Hands-on experience securing Kubernetes, Docker, and containerized environments.
- Deep Linux system knowledge with strong troubleshooting skills.
- Experience designing and managing complex CI/CD pipelines.
- A passion for automation and eliminating manual processes.
- Ability to diagnose and remediate complex security vulnerabilities.
- Experience with security monitoring, incident response, and compliance frameworks such as SOC 2, HIPAA, or ISO 27001.
- Strong analytical and communication skills, with a sense of ownership and leadership mindset.
