About the Role: As the HR Manager, you'll be the driving force behind the people operations, partnering with leadership to create an environment where employees thrive. Based in their Petaluma location, you'll lead initiatives across the full spectrum of HR functions while serving as a trusted advisor to both management and staff.
What You'll Do:
Shape the People Strategy
- Design and implement innovative HR programs that attract, develop, and retain top talent
- Partner with leaders to build high-performing teams through strategic recruitment and development
- Create and nurture a workplace culture that emphasizes collaboration, growth, and inclusion
Lead Critical HR Operations
- Oversee full-cycle recruitment, from strategy development to successful onboarding
- Drive our performance management and professional development programs
- Manage compensation and benefits programs that keep us competitive in the market
- Ensure smooth payroll operations and maintain accurate HR information systems
Build Strong Relationships
- Serve as a trusted advisor to employees at all levels
- Guide managers through complex employee relations matters
- Foster positive workplace relationships through effective communication and conflict resolution
- Coordinate with external partners, from benefits providers to insurance brokers
Champion Workplace Excellence
- Develop and implement forward-thinking HR policies and procedures
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations
- Manage office operations to create an efficient, comfortable work environment
- Lead employee engagement initiatives and recognition programs
What You Bring:
- 5 years of progressive HR experience, with 3 years in leadership roles
- Sharp business acumen paired with deep HR expertise
- Strong technical skills, including HRIS platforms and Microsoft Suite
- Excellence in relationship building and communication across all levels
- Cool head and sound judgment in challenging situations
- Deep understanding of employment law and HR best practices

Compensation Range: $110K-$130K
Salary : $110,000 - $130,000
