Senior Software Testing Analyst II – Hybrid | Westbrook, Maine

Contract: 6 months (with potential for extension)

Location: Hybrid – 2 days/week onsite in Westbrook, Maine

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM EST

We’re looking for a Senior Software Testing Analyst to join a collaborative team focused on backend and cloud-based application testing. This is not a front-end role. Instead, you'll be embedded in a modern DevOps environment, working closely with engineers to test cloud apps, APIs, microservices, and automation pipelines.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Design, execute, and automate test plans for complex backend and cloud-based systems (AWS)
• Collaborate directly with developers in a hybrid Agile environment
• Conduct API testing, smoke testing, regression, and functional validation
• Write and automate test scripts using PowerShell, Postman, Newman, and related tools
• Analyze coverage and test results; track defects using Jira and Confluence
• Contribute to QA best practices and process improvement initiatives
• Act as a quality advisor across the team, with influence beyond your own deliverables

What You Bring to the Table:

• Solid experience testing cloud applications (AWS preferred)
• Proficiency in test automation and writing automated scripts
• Strong communication and collaboration skills — you’re as comfortable in a team sync as in a testing framework
• Hands-on experience with:
• API testing, manual testing, and defect triage
• Automation tools: Postman, Newman, PowerShell scripting
• Test tools: TestRail, Swagger, Jira
• Basic SQL/Oracle queries
• Bonus if you have experience with microservice testing and GitHub
