We’re hiring a reliable, experienced, Armed Security Officer! The persons in this position will maintain a safe and secure environment for customers and co-workers by patrolling, monitoring premises, and performing search procedures.
Schedule: Full time
6:00am-6:00pm
12 hour shifts
Hourly starting wage: $22.00/ HR

**All applicants must have an active Alabama State Armed Security Guard License**

Responsibilities:
- Remain alert, avoid distractions, and observe all activity around the post
- Patrol a designated area on foot or in a vehicle
- Enforce company and client policies
- Observe, report, and document violations of policy by notifying the Shift Lieutenant or Control Dispatch
- Respond to incidents in a quick manner
- Protect everyone and everything within the limits and duties of the post
- One will only use reasonable force, up to and including lethal force, when necessary to protect life
- Observe, report, and prevent incidents by providing a physical presence
- Officers will remain on the post and wait until they have proper relief
- Provide assistance to customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner
- Monitor for irregular or unusual activity
- Secure facility and designated areas
- Investigate and prepare reports on incidents
Qualifications:
- Ability to stand or walk for long periods
- Must have your own 9mm Weapon?
- Must have excellent written and communication skills
- Must be reliable, have a positive attitude, and uphold ethical behavior
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Must at least 21 years of age?
- Armed Security License?
- Prior Law Enforcement and/or Military background preferred
