Job Summary
The Product Marketing Manager at ProSites is responsible for developing and executing the go-to-market strategy for our products. This includes crafting compelling messaging, positioning, and content that clearly communicates the value of our solutions to the market. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, sales, and customer success, to drive product adoption and achieve business objectives.
Essential Duties
Go-to-Market Strategy:
- Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for new products and feature releases.
- Collaborate with product management to understand product features and benefits, and translate them into customer-facing messaging.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify market opportunities and inform product positioning.
Product Positioning & Messaging:
- Create and maintain product positioning, messaging, and value propositions that differentiate our products in the market.
- Develop and refine buyer personas to ensure messaging resonates with target audiences.
- Craft compelling product narratives that can be used across various marketing channels.
Sales Enablement:
- Develop sales tools, collateral, and training materials to support the sales team in effectively communicating product value to prospects and customers.
- Conduct product training sessions for the sales team, ensuring they are equipped with the knowledge and tools to succeed.
- Collaborate with sales to gather feedback and continuously refine product messaging and positioning.
Content Development & Marketing Campaigns:
- Work closely with the content and demand generation teams to create product-related content, including white papers, case studies, blog posts, webinars, and presentations.
- Develop and manage marketing campaigns that drive product awareness, generate leads, and support customer retention.
- Collaborate with digital marketing teams to optimize online content and ensure alignment with SEO strategies.
Market Intelligence & Customer Insights:
- Conduct ongoing market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs.
- Analyze customer feedback and usage data to gain insights into product performance and customer satisfaction.
- Use insights to inform product development, marketing strategies, and go-to-market plans.
Product Launch Management:
- Plan and execute product launches, coordinating with product management, marketing, sales, and customer success teams.
- Develop and manage launch timelines, ensuring all deliverables are completed on time.
- Measure and report on the success of product launches, including tracking key metrics and gathering stakeholder feedback.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
- 5 years of experience in product marketing, preferably in a B2B environment.
- Proven track record of successfully launching and marketing products to business audiences.
- Strong understanding of B2B marketing strategies, sales processes, and customer buying behavior.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft clear, compelling messaging.
- Experience with market research, competitive analysis, and customer insights.
- Proficiency with marketing automation platforms, CRM systems, and analytics tools.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Knowledge of digital marketing tactics, including SEO, SEM, and content marketing.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
