A leading IT Managed Service Provider and value-added reseller of Autodesk CAD products has an immediate opening for a IT Technician in Orem Utah. As we continue to expand our operations, we are seeking a skilled and motivated IT Technician to join our dynamic team.
This candidate should also have a working knowledge of computer assembly. This position will support the assembly and repairs of computer hardware and software. The builder should be capable of working on computer building and repairs with minimal supervision. Each unit needs to be put together in a timely manner with quality workmanship. The builder will also be responsible for repairs of existing builds. The builder will be working with other members of the team, therefore, strong team skills are required.
As an IT Technician at ProSoft IT, you will play a crucial role in providing technical support and maintaining the IT infrastructure for our client base. The ideal candidate is a problem solver with a passion for technology, excellent communication skills, and a customer-centric approach. Responsibilities:
· Technical Support: Provide first-level technical support to clients via phone, email, or in-person. Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues promptly and efficiently.
· System Maintenance: Perform regular system maintenance tasks, including updates, patches, and upgrades. Monitor and optimize system performance to ensure optimal functionality.
· Network Administration: Assist in the setup, configuration, and maintenance of client networks. Troubleshoot network-related issues and implement solutions to ensure seamless connectivity.
· Hardware and Software Installation: Install and configure hardware components and software applications. Assist in the building custom workstations and servers.
· Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for client systems, configurations, and support procedures. Keep detailed records of client interactions and resolutions.
· Customer Communication: Communicate effectively with clients to understand and address their IT concerns. Provide timely updates on issue resolution progress and ensure client satisfaction.
Qualifications:
1. Experience: Proven experience in providing IT support, troubleshooting, and maintenance. Industry certifications (e.g., CompTIA A , Network , Microsoft Certified) are a plus.
2. Technical Skills:
· Proficient in Windows operating systems.
· Familiarity with networking concepts and protocols.
· Experience with hardware and software installations and configurations.
· Knowledge of cloud computing platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS) is desirable.
· Experience with Autodesk Products (AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D etc.) is a plus.
