Job Overview:
The Vice President of Operations - MFG is responsible for overseeing the overall operations of the company, ensuring efficient and effective processes across all departments. This executive level role involves developing and implementing strategic operational plans, driving operational improvements, and managing key areas such as production, supply chain, and logistics. The VP of Operations MFG plays a critical role in aligning operational performance with organizational goals and objectives, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, and ensuring the company meets its financial, operational, and customer satisfaction targets.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Leadership
- Develop and execute the company’s operations strategy, aligning with the overall business vision and goals.
- Work closely with the CEO and executive leadership team to drive company-wide initiatives.
- Lead and oversee cross-functional teams in the execution of strategic business objectives.
- Provide leadership in identifying and executing process improvements and operational efficiencies.
2. Operations Management
- Oversee daily operations of the company, including production, supply chain, logistics, and inventory management.
- Monitor and analyze operational performance, identifying areas for improvement.
- Establish performance metrics to measure the effectiveness and efficiency of all operational processes.
- Ensure that the company is complying with regulatory and industry standards.
3. Process Improvement & Efficiency
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives, using methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or other best practices to streamline operations and reduce waste.
- Evaluate and refine operational processes to improve productivity, cost-efficiency, and quality.
- Lead the efforts for automation and technology adoption to enhance operational capabilities.
4. Financial Oversight
- Develop and manage budgets for operational departments, ensuring resource allocation aligns with strategic priorities.
- Work with the finance team to ensure cost control measures are in place, monitoring expenditures, and optimizing costs while maintaining quality.
- Analyze financial performance and recommend improvements or changes to reach financial goals.
5. Supply Chain & Vendor Management
- Oversee the supply chain strategy, ensuring timely and cost-effective sourcing, inventory management, and distribution.
- Manage relationships with key suppliers, ensuring quality standards and delivery timelines are met.
- Develop strategies to mitigate risks associated with supply chain disruptions or fluctuations.
6. Team Leadership & Development
- Lead and mentor the operations team, fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture.
- Identify skills gaps within the operations team and support employee training, development, and succession planning.
- Ensure alignment of operational objectives with team and individual performance goals.
7. Customer Satisfaction & Quality Control
- Ensure that the company’s products and services meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with sales, customer service, and other departments to address operational challenges affecting customer experience.
8. Risk Management
- Identify operational risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Qualifications:
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred).
- Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) or similar advanced qualification (preferred).
- 10 years of progressive leadership experience in operations management, with at least 5 years in an executive or senior leadership role. (preferred)
- Proven experience in process improvement, financial management, and supply chain optimization.
- Familiarity with industry-specific regulations, compliance standards, and best practices.

- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate cross-functional teams.
- Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Deep knowledge of operational processes, including production, supply chain, inventory, logistics, and quality management.
