Role: Showroom Sales Manager

Reports To: Director of Showroom Sales

Vision: The Showroom Sales Manager will oversee the development, implementation, and success of showroom products within the business in order to produce the best quality product and service to our customers.

Job Summary: The Showroom Sales Manager will manage assigned showroom sales consultants, communicate with purchasing department, and maintain vendor relations.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manages and analyzes the profitability of stock and non-stock Showroom products
• Manages new product development and potential sales opportunities
• Reviews current sales techniques and leads soft skill training to applicable showroom sales employees
• Manages relationships with the vendor community
• Coordinates with purchasing department to maintain appropriate levels of stock products
• Maintains acceptable level of individual sales as set forth by Director of Showroom Sales
• Facilitates an elevated level of service and communication with all customers
• Participates in product knowledge and staff meetings
• Maintains an up-to-date working knowledge of Eclipse and related software
• Assists in the coordination with RGA’s and manages defective items
• Assists with customer quotes and specifications as needed
• Assists customers on the showroom floor as needed
• Completes all other tasks as required by the Director of Showroom Sales

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Undergraduate degree preferred
• Knowledge of appliance, lighting or plumbing industry preferred
• Ability to multitask while in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong written and verbal skills detail oriented and proficient in computer operations

Physical Requirements:

• Must maintain Showroom Dress Code
• Must be able to life 15 pounds at a time
• Must be able to work for a prolonged amount of time at a desk
• Must be able to navigate to each department at the facility
