What you’ll do:

• Director of First Impressions: Deliver exceptional customer experience by welcoming, engaging, and registering showroom visitors. Be comfortable answering phones to qualify the customer by asking questions and directing them to the right account manager or providing answers.
• Assist our sales team by facilitating the order process from initiation to fulfillment, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail every step of the way. Your responsibilities would include, but are not limited to: taking and posting payments, placing material orders, tracking and providing the status of orders, and answering customers’ questions.
• Be the go-to person for the sales team by delivering consistent and exceptional customer service. Collaborate to address any challenges and find innovative solutions that exceed our customers’ expectations.
• Communicate and build rapport with our vendors and their representatives to ensure timely delivery, quality assurance, and correct pricing. Determine creative ways to resolve timeline issues and backorders. Work with the Warehouse Manager to ensure delivery accuracy and report discrepancies to vendors. File, document, and process claims to reorder material or reimburse the account. Coordinate with Accounts Payable to audit and rectify anomalies.
• Utilize our proprietary CRM system and internal software for sales entry, general bookkeeping, bank deposits, and customer relationship management.
• Maintain awareness of best practices as part of ongoing discussions with the General Manager. Provide a variety of reports to ensure all the moving parts of the process and team are meeting or exceeding ProSource’s goals.

• High School diploma or GED
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, along with interpersonal abilities
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Proficient in basic math concepts and data analysis and able to understand and effectively communicate numerical data, such as discounts, margins, commissions, and percentages
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Experienced in Microsoft Office and Excel with a general understanding of technology and the internet (mobile devices, apps, and internet searches)
