Overview: Under the supervision of the Sales Manager, the Warehouse Support Associate performs essential warehouse and facility maintenance duties. This entry-level position focuses primarily on material handling, organization, and cleanliness of both the warehouse and showroom areas. The role requires forklift operation experience.
We offer an hourly wage of $18-20 and a benefits package that includes healthcare, retirement, and paid time off. Plus, no evening hours!!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Warehouse Operations:

• Load and unload delivery trucks using forklift equipment
• Receive merchandise, inspect for condition, and verify against shipping documents
• Store merchandise in designated warehouse locations according to the organizational system
• Prepare outgoing shipments, including wrapping, labeling, and loading
• Maintain the inventory racking system and organization of storage areas

Showroom Support:

• Build, maintain, and update product displays in the showroom as directed
• Track and organize sample inventory, managing the check-in and check-out process
• Ensure product tags and display information are current and properly placed
• Transport materials between the warehouse and the showroom as needed

Facility Maintenance:

• Clean and maintain the warehouse, showroom, bathrooms, and common areas to Grand Opening standards
• Empty trash receptacles throughout the facility
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors as scheduled
• Ensure the facility maintains a professional appearance at all times
• Report maintenance issues or safety concerns to management

Administrative Support:

• Answer incoming phone calls and take messages when necessary
• Assist with basic data entry for inventory management
• Perform other duties as assigned to support operations

Technical Skills:

• Proficient forklift operation with strict adherence to safety protocols
• Basic computer skills for inventory management system entries
• Ability to follow detailed instructions for display setup and maintenance

Qualifications:
Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Forklift Experience 1 Years
• 6 months of warehouse or material handling experience preferred
• Experience with cleaning and maintenance duties preferred

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift, push, and pull materials weighing up to 70 pounds
• Capable of standing, walking, and bending for extended periods
• Manual dexterity to safely handle materials and operate equipment
• Comfortable working in various temperatures (warehouse environment)
