Develop and maintain proficiency in the following areas:
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Equipment interconnection and cable routing
- Completing all phases of installation, while adhering to high standards of quality and professionalism
- Pre-wire and retro-wire standards and practices - New Construction, Retrofit
- Audio Visual equipment installation - speakers, televisions, projectors, network equipment, automation control systems, etc.
- Cable management and installation
- Network/AV/Automation Rack Fabrication
- Troubleshooting and resolving equipment malfunctions
- Maintaining high level of communication with all members of the project - project managers, designers, accounts receivable, and purchasing departments
- Consistent, high-detail updates on job progress
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Highly detailed, organized, and multitask driven
- Education: Associates degree is preferred, but not required. We take into account your experience/skill level and what you bring to the table as an individual.
- Customer Service Experience - our clients are #1, and as the front line, our installation team is the face of Oasis for the project cycle
- Attitude and Aptitude: We need someone who is eager to learn and comes to work ready to tackle any situation. We reward the quest for growth by a strong internal promotion culture, continued technical training (networking, prosource U, etc) for those that are willing to learn and grow with the company
- AV/IT Networking: Knowledge of the industry or other trade construction exposure is preferred. If you haven't gotten the opportunity to gain much experience, but have a passion for the AV industry and are driven to succeed, there may26* still be a place for you on our team.
