What are the responsibilities and job description for the Airport Exit Lane Monitor position at Prospect Airport Services?
Duties
Employees who perform the exit lane monitor position are responsible for ensuring no unauthorized persons enter sterile areas of the airport. This includes communicating with airline passengers, informing them they may not enter or re-enter the exit doors/lanes into the sterile area. Exit lane agents may also be asked basic questions and are expected to provide good, friendly customer service. In the event someone should ignore their orders, law enforcement is to be notified. Exit lane monitors are not required to physically prevent someone from doing so.
This job requires candidates to be able to stand for long periods of time. Candidates also need to be customer service oriented and have great attention to detail.
Qualifications:
- Applicants must have a valid drivers license or state ID and be able to pass a federal background check
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must be able to physically perform required work
- Professional appearance
- Customer service skills
- Dependable, self motivated and responsible
- Ability to work a flexible, rotating schedule, including nights, early mornings, and weekends
