What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dispatcher/Ticket Counter Coordinator position at Prospect Airport Services?
A Dispatcher is responsible for the following essential functions
- Ability to use internal computer dispatching system or airlines operational information system, email and radio communication to coordinate, assign and log responses.
- Ability to multi-task and problem solve in a fast-paced environment.
- Communicate efficiently and effectively demonstrating excellent customer service skills.
- Have familiarity and understanding of a passenger assistant's work as well as the airport layout where work is performed.
- Be punctual since dispatch needs are driven by airline client flight schedules.
- Sit for prolonged periods of time.
- Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
A Wheelchair coordinator is responsible for the following essential functions
- To greet all passengers requesting extra assistance and using the provided equipment to create a request for wheelchair or escort services.
- Answer questions and give directions to the general public.
- Providing service to airline passengers with disabilities, by pushing wheelchairs or escorting them as requested.
- Conduct wellness checks to ensure passengers needs are met.
