What are the responsibilities and job description for the Construction Project Administrator position at Prospect Construction, Inc.?
Prospect Construction is currently seeking a Project Administrator to join our team on site at Project Sites.
Prospect Construction is a Heavy Civil Contractor that specializes in water and wastewater treatment plants, hydraulic structures/facilities, shoring systems, large concrete tanks, pump stations/process facilities, dewatering, major excavations, structural steel, process equipment, and mechanical systems.
The ideal candidate will provide support in various project-related tasks and ensure the smooth execution of projects, provide administrative assistance and ensure project documentation is accurate and up to date.

Responsibilities can include but are not limited to:
- Provide proper distribution of all project information.
- Look after the day-to-day responsibilities of the project.
- Attend meetings and take meeting minutes.
- Communicates with customers and their representatives, including owners, subcontractors, field craft and engineers.
- Process/ manage material deliveries and ensure that the materials received are inspected for quantity and quality in compliance with contract documents.
- Assists project management team with requested documentation.
- General office administration including but not limited to: printing, scanning, and filing.
- Assist in preparing contracts, change orders, and other project-related documents
- Develops, processes and tracks equipment, material, and informational submittals.
- Obtains detailed knowledge of the contract, drawings, and specifications for project.
- Updates and manages all project files; this includes maintaining employees, vendor, and miscellaneous files.
- Becoming familiar with and understanding project requirements.
- Coordination with subcontractors to make sure project requirements are met
- Ability to understand Certified payroll and CWA requirements.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Some college preferred, but not required
- Prior experience working for a construction company in an Administration role.
- Ability to access and work in all areas of a construction site in all types of environments and weather conditions.
- Competency with Microsoft office suite and familiarity with Bluebeam.
- Ability to work well with a team or independently.
- Strong work ethic and communication skills
- Thorough attention to detail, with the ability to recognize discrepancies.
