Prospect Hill Academy Charter School is a highly successful urban PK-12 public school located in Somerville and Cambridge. We enroll over 900 students from cities and towns throughout the greater Boston metro area. - Teacher: developing and teaching 9th grade creative arts elective, supporting upperclassmen in portfolio development/application process to post secondary art/architecture programs
- Advisor: grade level TBD
- Co-planner: collaborating with academic content teachers on project design during weekly common planning meetings and professional learning time
- Visiting Artist/Co-Teacher: rotating through classes to support teacher implementation of project based learning that requires students to construct and demonstrate learning through an art form
- PBL Lab Manager: managing classroom space dedicated to serving as a project based learning lab
- Maintains accurate and up-to-date records.
- Maintains respectful, collegial, and collaborative relationships with colleagues.
- Supports the extracurricular life of the school.
- Seeks and participates in collaborative inquiry as professional development.

- Bachelor’s degree required
- MA Licensure in relevant field preferred, or working towards completion of licensure
- Understanding and familiarity with the Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks
