Job Description
The Assistant General Manager (AGM) serves as a liaison between departments, supporting the General Manager in vendor relations and community engagement. This role is crucial in managing day-to-day operations, championing HR initiatives, and maintaining a positive company culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Support: Assist the GM in overseeing daily operations, ensuring smooth and efficient workflows across all departments.
- Financial Management: Support the GM in generating and reviewing financial reports, including budgets, projections, forecasting, and revenue analysis.
- Human Resources: Collaborate with the GM and HR partner on staffing, training, performance evaluations, disciplinary actions, and compliance with labor laws.
- Sales & Marketing: Contribute to sales strategies, assist in maintaining relationships with key accounts, and actively promote The Prospect.
- Guest Experience: Ensure exceptional guest service by addressing concerns, anticipating needs, and fostering a welcoming atmosphere.
- Property Management: Assist in maintaining the property, ensuring quality standards are met, and managing operational systems.
Requirements:
- Ability to provide coaching, counseling, and have difficult conversations.
- Demonstrates awareness of and sensitivity to DEI, and actively contributes to creating an environment where all individuals are respected and valued.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical activities such as bending, sitting, walking, and standing for the duration of an 8-hour shift.
