    Assessment/Data Coordinator Job Description

    The Assessment/Coordinator will be responsible for data quality and efficient execution of state, district, and local assessments. Work is guided by, and must comply with, federal and state law, policy direction of the PRA Board of Directors, and compliance with state and district agencies.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Coordinate with the level Principals regarding state, district, and local assessments in testing protocols, scheduling, proctoring, security, and processing of test materials.
    • Order, distribute, and manage security regarding test materials, including state required assessments and other locally identified assessments.
    • Coordinate test accommodations to ensure access for students in Special Education and students who are Multilingual Learners.
    • Responsible for the accuracy of all data throughout secondary databases.
    • Maintain, update, and troubleshoot secondary databases.
    • Produce data reports from multiple data sources.
    • Participate in all School Accountability Committee meetings.
    • Ensure accurate and timely delivery of communication.
    • Plan, coordinate, and implement professional development for staff who proctor assessments, and on their use of secondary data systems.
    • Provide outstanding customer service.
    • Use initiative to accomplish assessment and data objectives.
    • Maintain and update knowledge and skills by participating in professional development activities.
    • Stay abreast of updates/changes to testing protocols, requirements, and initiatives.
    • Manage special projects and perform other duties as assigned.

    Requirements:

    • B.S. in Computer Science or related or relevant professional or technical/field experience.
    • ?Evaluate the use of technology in the classroom.
    • Model and support the effective integration of technology in the classroom.
    • Display competency with administrative and instructional applications of technology.
    • Use multimedia equipment and applications, basic software applications, and standard operating systems.
    • Have a working knowledge of hardware components and their functions.
    • Possess the ability to implement new technologies.
    • Demonstrate working knowledge of fundamental network design and common network operating systems.
    • Design and implement computer networks suitable for educational settings.
    • Plan both long and short-term training programs.
    • Develop appropriate training materials for school personnel.

    K-12 Responsibilities

    As full-time, salaried employees, you are expected to contribute to our organization's success outside of the school day. This may include:

    • Sponsoring a Club or Coaching a Team (both may include a stipend)
    • Serving on Committees or Task Forces (minimum once a month)

    • Strong organizational skills and the ability to coordinate tasks.
    • Ability to work with limited supervision and to be self-motivated.
    • Ability to use sound judgment as determined by the specific situation.

    Physical Requirements and Working Conditions

    • May occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
    • Vision abilities required include close vision, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to focus.
    • Provide backup assistance and coverage for other areas.
    • Work may occasionally be performed outside with exposure to varying temperatures.
    • This position includes contact with students, staff, Administrators, Prospect Ridge Academy Board of Directors, and parents.
    • Work hours may occasionally be extended.

    Reporting Relationship

    • This position reports to the School Principal(s).
    • Direct Reports: None.

    Prospect Ridge Academy offers a total compensation package, for employees working > 0.75 FTE, including:

    • MEDICAL - There are three options for Medical coverage provided by United Healthcare.
    • DENTAL - Dental insurance is provided by Delta Dental of Colorado.
    • VISION - Vision insurance is provided by VSP.
    • FLEXIBLE SPENDING - There are two different options for flexible spending provided by Discovery Benefits.
    • LIFE/AD&D - You are provided 1x your annual salary (up to $100,000) as group term life insurance.
    • STD/LTD - PRA pays the entire cost of short- and long-term disability benefits.
    • PERA - Administered by Colorado, PERA is a tax-deferred retirement account to which you contribute 11% of your monthly earnings. Additionally, PRA contributes 21.4% to the PERA pension trust fund on your behalf.
    • EAP - Employee Assistance Program.
    • PAL - Paid Annual Leave beginning immediately following the first day of work (FTE 1.0 = 10 days / 0.8 = 8 days/ 0.5 = 5 days etc.)
    • Paid Holidays that include - 11 paid Holidays for 10 month Employees (please refer to Employee Handbook for these 11 days) and 15 paid Holidays for 12 month Employees (please refer to Employee Handbook for these 15 days).

    For Employees working < 0.75 FTE, benefits will include:

    • PERA - Administered by Colorado, PERA is a tax-deferred retirement account to which you contribute 11% of your monthly earnings. Additionally, PRA contributes 21.4% to the PERA pension trust fund on your behalf.
    • Paid Holidays that include - 11 paid Holidays for 10 month Employees (please refer to Employee Handbook for these 11 days) and 15 paid Holidays for 12 month Employees (please refer to Employee Handbook for these 15 days).

    Hiring Salary: $50,000 - $56,250
