Prospect Schools is seeking an organized, flexible, and mission-driven Operations Coordinator to join us in support of our growing network of schools. The ideal candidate is fully dedicated to the mission of Prospect Schools and to supporting the success of our students and families. This person will report directly to the Director of School Operations and be responsible for acting as the primary driver behind the school’s communication with its broad community, and as a critical support in the work of other members of the operations team.
School Communication
- Maintain a calendar for family-facing communication through the entire year
- Write official school letters, draft flyers, and support the Principal and Director of School Operations in drafting staff-wide announcements
- Act as the primary point of contact through the front desk and school phone
- Greet and help direct visitors after they have checked in with security; may need to be stationed at a front desk for some or all of the day.
- Support the Registrar in maintaining accurate student data and regular compliance reports
- Support the Special Projects Manager in implementing the school’s system for student technology distribution and troubleshooting
- Support with the planning and execution of day-to-day school systems, such as Arrival, Lunch/Recess, and Dismissal to ensure that they run efficiently and safely
- Create and administer staff training on new and routine operations systems
- Bachelor's Degree or 5 years professional experience
- At least 1-3 years of operations or adjacent administrative experience
- Prior experience working in a school preferred
- Exceptionally strong organizational skills, with a keen attention to detail
- Experience managing projects from beginning to end
- Adept at collaborating and building community with others
