What are the responsibilities and job description for the Prospect Select Baseball Seasonal Scouting Opportunity position at Prospect Select Baseball?
The Seasonal Scout reports directly to the Assistant National Director of Scouting and Technology and assists in carrying out all aspects of the Prospect Select scouting department protocols and procedures whether on-site or working remote. The Seasonal Scout provides support to the scouting team by ensuring the effective completion of all tasks in a timely manner. Additionally, the Lead Scout should have an advanced ability to identify, describe, and promote the high-level athletes attending each event.
The ideal candidate would be proficient in multiple social media platforms. They would also show an advanced ability to create scout notes on a large number of players per day as well as show a keen interest in the use of data analytics in scouting. This position is a hybrid position that will require some time on location at our tournaments and some time creating scouting posts and notes while working remotely.
