Job Overview
Join our growing property management team as a Maintenance Technician, where you’ll be responsible for maintaining a portfolio of single-family homes and small multifamily buildings. This role involves a combination of preventative maintenance, general repairs, and responding to service requests. The ideal candidate will be a well-rounded technician with experience in residential property maintenance, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional service to our tenants and owners.
Job Responsibilities
- Maintenance & Repairs: Perform general maintenance and repairs on building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and appliances.
- Work Orders: Respond to and complete tenant service requests in a timely and professional manner utilizing Property Management Software.
- Property Inspections: Conduct routine property inspections to identify and address maintenance needs proactively.
- Safety & Compliance: Ensure properties are safe, meet building codes, and comply with company maintenance standards.
- Inventory & Equipment Management: Maintain an organized inventory of supplies and tools; track equipment maintenance and repairs.
- Emergency Response: Participate in the on-call rotation to handle emergency maintenance requests.
- Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in residential property maintenance or a related trade.
- Skills: Proficiency in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and general handyman tasks.
- Licenses/Certifications: HVAC certification, plumbing or electrical license is a plus.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 50 lbs, work on ladders, and perform tasks in varying weather conditions.
- Customer Service: Strong communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with tenants, vendors, and team members.
- Transportation: Reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license, and insurance (Gas Stipend Provided)

Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
