PRIMARY PURPOSE:
To assist the Director of Fine Arts with the coordination of Fine Arts programs K-12, as assigned. To assist with the development and implementation of systems that provide support to the Fine Arts faculty in curricular, co-curricular and extra-curricular activities and performances.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
Master’s Degree, preferred
Mid-management Certificate, Principal Standard Certificate or Supervisor Certificate, preferred
Special Knowledge/Skills:
Proficient skills in Microsoft Office, Google Suite
Proficient skills in Charms Office Suite, preferred
Strong organization, communication, and interpersonal skills
Ability to develop and manage programs and budgets
Knowledge of overall operations in art, music, theatre and non-athletic extracurricular programs
Ability to interpret policy, procedures, and data
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
Program Management
1. Work with all fine arts faculty and non-athletic extracurricular activity sponsors on educational and administrative procedural needs of their programs.
2. Assist with the development and maintenance of program budgets, inventories, and purchasing processes.
3. Assist in making travel arrangements for all fine arts and non-athletic student groups, as required.
4. Coordinate the implementation of district fine arts events including but not limited to Youth Art Month, VASE, junior VASE, Fine Arts Honor Ensembles, District of Distinction, NAMM Foundation, and all special ISD performances and appearances.
5. Assist Fine Arts Faculty with logistical and financial aspects of contests and competitions.
6. Assist the Director of Fine Arts with the dissemination of pertinent information to Fine Arts Faculty.
7. Assist the Director of Fine Arts in planning and coordinating professional learning, workshops, clinics, and staff meetings.
8. Establish and maintain open communication and professional relationships with all stakeholders.
9. Coordinate safety training and CPR/AED certification for extracurricular coaches and directors.
10. Attend Fine Arts faculty meetings, PLC’s, relative performances and school board meetings, as assigned.
11. Compile, maintain, and archive all physical and computerized reports, records and other documents pertaining to fine arts programs K-12.
12. In collaboration with the Director of Fine Arts, maintain a schedule of regular Fine Arts classroom visits to support all K-12 Fine Arts faculty.
13. Other duties, as assigned.

14. Enforce all state policies governing curricular, co-curricular and extracurricular events and participation. Implement the policies established by federal and state law, State Board of Education rule, and local board policy.
15. Compile, maintain, and present all physical and computerized reports, records and other documents required.
