Primary Purpose:
Ensure efficient operation of the district enrollment of students and maintenance of student data according to the guidelines established by the Texas Education Agency and the administration of Prosper Independent School District through training and support of campus registrars, data clerks, and attendance clerks. To assist in maintaining accurate PEIMS records for the district.
Qualifications:
Education/Certification:
High School Diploma or GED
Special Knowledge/Skills:
- Extensive knowledge of the PEIMS Data Standards
- Extensive knowledge of the Student Attendance Accounting Handbook
- Proficient in Google Suite and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to maintain accurate and auditable records
- Ability to train staff in small group settings
- Ability to work well in a team provide training for end users
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Work habits include being reliable, flexible, and punctual, a self-starter and team player
- Must be organized and self-motivated
- Ability to complete tasks within a timely fashion and meet established deadlines

Experience:
Minimum of 3 years working experience with PEIMS data
Experience using a Student Information Software Program
Experience training small groups preferred
Major Responsibilities and Duties:
PEIMS
1. Assist in the collection of PEIMS data and assist with the submission of information to the state while following all state and federal guidelines for coding student information.
2. Run Pre-PEIMS reports and work with campus registrars and district coordinators/directors to ensure data is verified and accurate.
3. Assist with required 6 weeks reports and membership reconciliation per state guidelines.
4. Ability to compute, analyze and interpret numerical data for reporting purposes.
SIS
5. Provide comprehensive training and support to campus registrars, data clerks, and attendance clerks with student related data (registration, attendance, scheduling, report cards, transcripts, special program coding, etc.).
6. Assist campuses with TREx training and troubleshooting.
7. Provide end user support via telephone, email, campus visits, and training sessions.
8. Monitor and review campus student data utilizing Skyward reports and functions.
9. Provide training to campus staff on attendance protocol and attendance-taking procedures based on the Student Attendance Accounting Handbook.
10. Assist with setup of campus information and ensuring students are enrolled in the appropriate campus based on district zoning.
11. Assist with the coordination of new student enrollment and returning student registration functions and the development of the online registration information forms.
12. Provide records management practices for student records to include training and monitoring of records in the Laserfiche Student Repository.
13. Attend related conferences, seminars and meetings to further knowledge of the student information system.
