Job Description: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper to join our team at Prosper Construction. As a Bookkeeper, you will play a crucial role in managing the financial transactions and records of our projects. You will ensure accuracy in financial reporting, maintain accounts payable and receivable, reconcile accounts, and assist in preparing financial statements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate records of financial transactions for multiple construction projects.
- Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
- Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow.
- Prepare financial reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
- Assist in budget preparation and monitoring project expenses.
- Collaborate with project managers and senior management to provide financial insights and support.
Requirements:
- Proven work experience as a Bookkeeper, preferably in the construction or related industry.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and MS Excel.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
