ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND FUNCTIONS
Receive and process all incoming ACH files received from FED in a timely manner and according to the processing schedule.
Process all customer ACH Origination files received on both the Internet and Direct Transmit
Process NOC’s, pre-notes, and returns on Bank’s originators
Process ACH disputes
Perform ACH Return Item function
Assist banking centers and other departments with research and other ACH related issues.
Research outstanding entries on Fed Recon
Daily filing and reviewing of scanned work
Monitor the Department’s support email boxes
When required, perform call backs to customers
Perform other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:
High school diploma or equivalent.
AAP certification a plus, but not required
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
At least 4 years of bank operations or related experience.
Overall general knowledge of ACH NACHA Rules, compliance and regulations governing ACH.
Great knowledge of Microsoft Office: Excel, Outlook, Word, etc.
SKILLS/ABILITIES:
Have a positive, professional and courteous interaction with customers, associates and other financial institutions.
Must be able to maintain confidentiality with information that is handled in the department
Must be a self-starter that can manage multiple tasks / duties with minimal supervision.
Have an intellectual curiosity, desire to pursue answers/solutions, independent problem solving.
Accurate and attentive to detail
Must work well in a team environment
Strong communication abilities
Regular attendance required
Must be able to travel on short notice due to contingency
Must be willing to prepare and test for AAP Certification
Monday-Friday: 6:45am-7:30pm
40 hours a week
Salary : $29,600 - $37,400
