Position Summary : Prosperity Home Mortgage is seeking motivated Mortgage Consultants to establish their offices within our esteemed real estate branches. This role is ideal for individuals with the ambition and expertise to thrive in a competitive landscape. As an in-house lender, you will have unparalleled access to collaborate with both internal and external agents, maximizing your potential for success. Our clients value clear communication and education on mortgage options and processes, and as a Mortgage Consultant, you will play a vital role in ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience for them.
Key Responsibilities :
- Promote Prosperity Home Mortgage and its comprehensive suite of products and services.
- Enhance the visibility and presence of Prosperity Home Mortgage in the marketplace.
- Advise prospective and existing clients on mortgage programs, rates, policies, and procedures.
- Analyze financial and credit data to recommend suitable loan options tailored to client needs.
- Process residential first mortgage applications in compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
- Manage customer applications, provide rate quotes, and conduct follow-up activities related to registration and lock-in.
- Offer exceptional service to new and existing clients; collaborate with processing and closing teams to ensure timely and accurate loan closings.
- Set realistic expectations for the loan process by clearly communicating company policies, procedures, and underwriting requirements.
- Maintain personal production and service goals, while contributing to overall market share and branch profitability.
- Adhere to company standards for quality, accuracy, and compliance with industry regulations and laws.
- Participate in ongoing mortgage product and sales training programs as needed.
