Prosperity’s asset management team established a distinct business, PAM, under the Prosperity umbrella representing the investment management and asset origination team of Prosperity in 2022. In this capacity, PAM manages over $10 billion in assets for Prosperity’s insurance and reinsurance businesses. As part of the company’s vision to continue its expansion of its insurance business and grow to $25 billion in assets by 2025, Prosperity has entered into a definitive merger agreement to acquire National Western Life Group, Inc. At the close of the transaction, expected in the first half of 2024, Prosperity will have more than $25 billion assets under management and will be servicing more than 1 million policies.

Summary:
The Case Manager owns the flow of tasks associated with all new Life New Business products as assigned through case workflow and under the direction of the Lead Case Manager. This role reviews and processes work from submission of an application to the issue of business. This position reports to the New Business Supervisor.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Reviews and processes applications to ensure accuracy replacing incorrect information in relevant systems to maintain complete and compliant files in accordance with state and company guidelines
Ensures applications meet technical, legal and underwriting/suitability preliminary guidelines
Provides exceptional customer service with the mindset of going above and beyond for every client interaction, via email and phone calls, to include the end customer and the field
Establishes and maintains strong working relationships with agents of the assigned cases, including efficient, timely and professional communication
Ensures that various forms of payment to include checks, credit cards, preauthorized checks and wire transfers are compliant and their corresponding work queues are moved through the workflow efficiently
Follows all applicable compliance procedures for processing such payments, including federal anti-money laundering guidelines and IRS cash reporting requirements
Processes amendments, transmittals and policy delivery receipts through applicable systems
Processes reissue requests on active policies within established time goals and ensures policy is delivered to agent/client
Follows applicable exception guidelines to maintain proper controls
Handles requests for duplicate policies and policy cancellations via applicable systems
Prepare and write professional letters and email correspondence
Runs background verification for fraud utilizing Instant ID and collects necessary supporting documentation to verify identity in order to move case to Underwriting review
Responsible for consistent follow-up communication with internal and external vendors to obtain outstanding requirements
Daily data entry and tracking of current policy inventory/pipeline
Provides back-up assistance to other staff members in varying new business areas as needed
Has a sense of urgency without losing attention to detail, and the ability to multi-task

Education & Experience
High school diploma or equivalent
1-2 years’ experience in related areas
Strong understanding of life insurance and annuities preferred
Licenses & Certifications

Associate Customer Service (ACS) preferred
