Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Porter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a welcoming environment for visitors. This role is essential in supporting the overall operations of our facility through effective cleaning and maintenance practices.
Duties
- Perform general cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, buffing, and vacuuming floors to ensure a clean environment.
- Conduct floor care activities such as stripping, waxing, and polishing to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
- Assist with custodial duties in both residential and commercial settings, ensuring all areas are tidy and well-maintained.
- Carry out facilities maintenance tasks as needed, including minor repairs and upkeep of equipment.
- Support industrial cleaning efforts by following safety protocols and using appropriate cleaning supplies.
- Maintain cleanliness in common areas, restrooms, hallways, and outdoor spaces.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
Skills
- Proficiency in buffing and floor care techniques is highly desirable.
- Experience in facilities maintenance and custodial services is preferred.
- Ability to perform residential painting tasks as needed.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
