Job Description : In this role, the Academic Success Advisor has passion to ensure student success and achievements at Prosperity Training Center. This person is championing for students, instructors and fellow co-workers . T his position is a combination of marketing and clerical activities .
Job Duties :

Liaising and corresponding within the community to recruit students
Distribute marketing materials
Participate in marketing events
Scheduling fingerprint services
Scheduling Testing for students
Answering the phones
Monitor email correspondence
Managing upcoming and current student roster
Coordinate with the Program Director student calendar
Experience in rapidly adapting and effectively utilizing new technology , practices, polices, and methods
Experience with the use of internet-based research tools and Microsoft Office computer applications
Work as part of a team to increase student retention and graduation
Works closely and collaboratively with students, faculty and staff to support academic success
Acts as school representative to current and prospective students, faculty, staff and external groups on issues related to academic success; attends and or presents at orientation, graduation, or recruiting events / activities / workshops.
Responsibilities :
Tasks are carried out in a climate-controlled office environment, involving prolonged periods of sitting, typing, and using a computer mouse. The role also requires standing for various durations and walking moderate distances to complete work.
Regular bending , reading, lifting, pushing and pulling up to 25 lbs.
Maintaining Records : keeping accurate records of student’s files, and program outcomes
Traveling for marketing events
