The Director of Project Management and Business Development CEA (US) at Prospiant will play a pivotal role in overseeing the execution of large-scale projects and driving strategic growth within the CEA sector. This senior leadership position combines a strong focus on project management excellence with a strategic approach to business development, ensuring the successful delivery of projects while identifying and capitalizing on new business opportunities.
In this role, the Director will build and lead a team of project managers, construction managers and site superintendents to ensure that projects are executed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Simultaneously, the individual will drive business growth through client relationship management, market analysis, and identifying new avenues for expansion in Prospiant’s target markets. This is a highly collaborative position, requiring close interaction with cross-functional teams, senior leadership, and external stakeholders to achieve both operational and strategic objectives.
The Director of Project Management and Business Development will be instrumental in shaping the company’s future by fostering long-term relationships with key clients, guiding the strategic direction for business development, and ensuring that Prospiant continues to lead the industry in providing integrated CEA solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management Leadership
- Oversee all US CEA project management activities, ensuring successful planning, execution, and completion of projects on time, within budget, and according to quality standards.
- Direct a team of project managers, construction managers and site superintendents, providing mentorship, training, and development to ensure best practices in project delivery and high standards of customer satisfaction.
- Help establish project scopes, timelines, resource allocation, and budgets, collaborating with internal teams and clients.
- Monitor and evaluate project progress, addressing challenges, mitigating risks, and ensuring project goals are met.
- Develop and enforce project management processes, tools and systems to ensure consistency and efficiency across all projects.
- Ensure compliance with safety, legal, and regulatory standards throughout project execution cycle.
- Drive and support Epicor Project Module and Procore PM software use and implementation.
- Drive and establish a non-reactive planning culture rooted in the emphasis of daily work.
- Interface with , support and provide information to all pertinent business units (D&E, Purchasing, Manufacturing, Logistics, Finance)
- Business Development Strategy
- Engage in business development efforts to expand Prospiant's market share in the US CEA sector in collaboration with the VP of Sales and Business Development.
- Identify, report and pursue new business opportunities through lead generation, market analysis, and relationship-building with key stakeholders.
- Develop and manage relationships with existing and potential clients, including municipalities, corporations, and energy companies.
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to create targeted strategies and campaigns for business growth.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with engineering, design, operations, and finance teams to ensure seamless integration and execution of projects.
- Coordinate with senior management to develop and implement strategic plans for business growth, operational and manufacturing efficiency, and market positioning.
- Provide regular project and business development reports to the executive team, offering insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Client Relationship Management
- Foster and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring satisfaction, loyalty, and repeat business.
- Engage with clients to understand their evolving needs, report back and help align Prospiant’s offerings to meet those needs.
- Act as the primary point of contact for key accounts, managing expectations and resolving any issues that arise during the project execution and warranty phase.
- Market Insights and Competitive Analysis
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitive offerings, and market opportunities to help drive innovation and differentiation for Prospiant.
- Lead efforts in tracking market and competitor activities, identifying areas for potential growth, and proactively addressing market challenges.
Position Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction, or related field
- 10 years experience in construction management
- 5 years experience in construction supervisor experience
- Experience in Microsoft Suite
- Experience using Project Management Software, Procore preferred
- OSHA 30 hour certification or above
- Ability to sit up to 8 hours a day
- Ability to look at a computer up to 8 hours a day
- Ability to walk, sit, stand, and bend periodically
- Ability to lift up to 30lbs
- Ability to travel up to 75%
