Parts Sales Associate

Job Description:

Join our team as a Powersports Parts Associate at Pro Sport Polaris. As a vital member of our Parts Department, you will contribute to the success of our dealership by providing excellent customer service and ensuring the availability of quality parts for our customers’ Powersports vehicles.

Responsibilities:

· Customer Interaction: Assist customers in identifying and purchasing the right parts for their Powersports vehicles. Provide product knowledge and guidance to enhance customer satisfaction. Present a positive and professional image to customers, staff, and vendors.

· Promote a work environment where everyone is treated with dignity, compassion and respect.

· Order Processing: Efficiently process parts orders, from customer inquiries to order fulfillment. List and price out parts. Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of parts. Manage multiple projects and duties simultaneously and meet critical deadlines. Maintain records of all special-order parts and notify the customer who made the order.

· Inventory Control: Maintain accurate and organized parts inventory. Perform regular stock checks, monitor inventory levels, and initiate restocking procedures as needed.

· Product Knowledge: Stay informed about the latest Powersports products and parts. Provide expertise on compatibility, specifications, and upgrades to both customers and colleagues. Provide the necessary information for special orders if a part is not in stock.

· Be proficient in the use of parts catalogs and location of correct stocking bins and maintain the special-order parts inventory in a clean and organized manner.

· Team Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including service and sales, to facilitate seamless communication and enhance overall dealership operations. Be an effective team member who is innovative, proactive and focused on quality improvements.

· Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.

· Sell additional parts using related item sales techniques.

· Answer the telephone in accordance with dealership guidelines. Solicit orders or answer questions as appropriate.

· Communicate both in writing and in person.

· Perform other duties and tasks as directed by management.

Requirements:

· Excellent customer service and communication skills.

· Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.

· Basic computer skills for order processing and inventory management.

· Knowledge of or interest in Powersports vehicles and parts.

· Experience working in a parts sale’s role within a retail automotive parts and accessories store

· Powersports parts sales experience a plus

· Basic working knowledge of Dealership computer systems a plus

· Excellent selling, leadership, interpersonal and communication skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35,000 - $65,000 per year based on experience

Ability to Commute: To Radford, VA 24141
